How to Access/Post to the Discussion Board

In the Virtual Classroom click "Discussion Board" or "Communication" bar, then click "Discussion Board" link.

• To read Dr. G.'s post, click on the link (The title of Dr. G.'s post)
• To reply to Dr. G.'s post, click the "RE: Reply" bar /  Type the message beneath the  >statement  /  Click the "Post Message" bar

• To read a classmate's post, click on the link (The title of the classmate's post)
• To reply to the classmate's post, click the "RE: Reply" bar /  Type the message beneath the  >statement  /  Click the "Post Message" bar

How to Post to Discussion Board

1.  Click on "Discussion Board" bar

2. Click on the "Title" of the Discussion Board in which you wish to post

3.  Click "Add New Thread" bar.

4.  Type the current forum name in the "Subject" box.

5.  Answer the Discussion Board Question in the "Message" box.  (You need not put your name since it will be added automatically to your post)

6. Click "Submit" button to post.

Go back to check to see if your answer was posted.

To Read Another Student's Post

Repeat Steps #1 and #2 above.

Click on Title of the Student's Post that you wish to read.

To Reply to Another Student's Post

Repeat above steps under "To Read Another Student's Post

Click "Reply" button   Type your Reply in the "Message" box and click "Submit" button.
